Abstract
O livro apresenta uma revisão histórica na área previdenciária e trabalhista a partir de 1930, relatando os avanços em relação a legislação, atuação do governo e o caminho que o PaÃs percorreu rumo a democracia, aos direitos sociais e polÃticos e a universalização da previdência, sendo que este percurso foi denominado pelo autor como um longo caminho na história da construção da cidadania.
