Abstract
A segunda edição do livro de Slack é o esperado: um compêndio generoso sobre gestão de operações, com os esperados casos, discussões, glossários etc. Existe uma edição compacta da edição anterior; porém esta versão mais recente e completa tende a ser uma melhor compra. Voltado para o estudante iniciante em produção e operações, Slack é um tipo de 'Kotler para Manufatura', tido como essencial nesse campo.
